Hi Refuge SLO Family and Friends –

We are excited to gather live and in person on Sunday mornings weather permitting! However, with the ever-shifting nature of our situation our Sunday morning services will be held outdoors at French Park at 10:30am as well as online on Zoom. If the weather is 60 degrees or above by 10am then we'll gather together at the park.

  • We have live worship!
  • The service length will be about an hour and fifteen minutes.
  • Bring your own comfortable chair and umbrella.
  • No registration is needed.
  • Kids and youth will remain with their family.

Our presence will still be available on our website, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Stay connected with us on social media.

We look forward to studying God’s Word with you every Sunday either outside and in person, or online and throughout the week in our small groups.

how to respond

What do we know?    We do what god's people are called to do.

start with prayer

We are a people of prayer - and we believe prayer changes things! Let’s be a church on our knees before our loving God, seeking Him and interceding on behalf of others.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 4:6-7

read god's word

God is on His throne and He is bigger than the Coronavirus! Spending time in His Word will help us continue to remember how great our God is, and the freedom from fear which we have received. Spend time as a family reading along on our Bible Reading Plan.

The Lord is my light and my salvation — so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? - Psalm 27:1

increase generosity

This is the time for the church to be the church! We are now being given unprecedented opportunities for generosity and it is time to respond. We will be looking for opportunities to serve our community and will keep you up to date on those efforts. You can financially support the ministry of the church at

When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. - Romans 12:13
